American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–3 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Its website is fikacc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Corpus Christi is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Corpus Christi follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Some of the best coffee we have had! The pastries were crispy, naturally sweet, and obviously beautiful. The staff are friendly and just as sweet.

I absolutely love this place, the coffee was amazing I got a latte with salted brown sugar and a cream cheese guava danish and it was perfectly flaky, crispy, chewy and moist, the filling was wonderfully balanced. I don’t know how you do it, but it was better than any bakery I had in NYC much less any other bakery I have ever visited. Great Job!!

You can tell that the pastries are expertly made. Perfectly moist & fresh. Presentation is beautifully done, but you can also taste the effort put into providing a quality experience. So soft and perfectly layered, different flavors melting seamlessly into your tastebuds as you eat. Batter folded with intention & craft that can only be developed over time.

First time here with my little one. The location isnt the best, was tucked in between a hair salon and donut shop. Not enough parking spaces. The inside was cute though, small but cute, maybe 20 people tops could fit in all at once. Lots of people on their electronics, working I think. Not a place for kids. We went around 1230-1pm and they were sold out of half their pastries. We still got a large chocolate chip cookie, a chocolate croissant (that was way to dry and did not have enough chocolate to bread ratio) & a tastless cappuccino for $17 I wish the worker would have suggested some of their favs or their top selling items. I was kind of clueless in there as it was our first time.

Fantastic little hole in the wall style Cafe and bakery that makes you feel at home and want to hang out awhile. Fresh baked pastries and perfectly crafted coffee is what they do. I haven't had a chance to try their matcha options but that will be the next time I stop in. Parking is a little crowded in the morning. Service is impeccable but isn't fast (which is a good thing). Prices are just right for the quality of goods they create ($5 - $9 for most pastries). Seating is limited but comfortable. The swedish roll is delicious (kind of like a cinnamon roll pretzel). The kouign aman with berries was absolutely outstanding. The savory twist was delicious as well. The ricotta and spinach pastry knocked it out of the park. The square pastries were a little dry for my taste but still layered to perfection.
